It’s not just the citizenship program that’s boosting Vanuatu’s economy
A new era of sustainable development has been declared in Vanuatu. An example of such a strategy is the Havannah Marina project. This is a grand project in the Havannah Harbour, which includes a modern marina, residential canals and commercial infrastructure. This will not only solve long-standing infrastructure problems, but also open up new opportunities for the economy and the environment.
Key details:
Size: 607 hectares, including a 10 hectares marina for 230 boats.
Infrastructure: Berths, fuel station, 75-ton yacht lift, ship repair area.
Residential area: 62 waterfront lots, commercial facilities (shops, hotels, recreation areas).
Despite the difficulties (financing, logistics, bureaucracy), the team is confident of success. In November 2024, large-scale construction began: special equipment was delivered, key permits were obtained, and partners from Australia provide operational support.
